Manufactured homes.. worth it?

I am looking at a few manufactured homes in good neighborhoods around Volusia County, Florida for under 70k. (I.e. 3/2 1500 sqft) They are in good condition, some with added bonuses (large masters, nice kitchens etc) and can be rented immediately after closing. I haven't looked into these much before but they seem extremely renter friendly and cheap to purchase/maintain. Does any one have experience with these? Are they better investments than a condo at around the same price (but with half the sq ft)? Are there things I should look out for specifically?

Thoughts, comments?

A lot of manufactured homes and mobile homes in this area are in parks. So they have have lot fees, which typically for this area run about 500 a month. Like condos and their HOA fees it makes them bad rental investments. There are some areas in Port Orange and South Daytona were they have these homes on their own land and are a good investment because you can pick them up cheap since the hurricane came through. We bought one 12k and it rents for 650 month. A rate local schools also.
