He informed me that BOA foreclosed on it almost 10 years ago and has never tried selling it. 

JP Morgan, BOA, Wells and the likes are not just one of the big guys, they are your competitor while you don't even register on their screen.

Property Appraiser should tell you which bank - from my experience I don't even try to find the person at the bank that can actually make that kind of decision - unless it is a small local bank I can walk in and talk to someone - BOA or Wells Fargo are black homles and properties can be lost in their inventory for an eternity :) but maybe it is different outside of Florida -- best of luck!

hey @Bo A Vanecko, I don't have any good numbers for you, but i know a developer that might be interested in helping you out. 

Do not use big box lenders with lots of internal overlays like BOA, Wells Fargo, PNC etc.

If I could buy the debt I would have the ability to foreclose on a house that has been completely abandon, and no one has a claim to other than BOA, and the city. 

I’ve been reaching out to mostly local banks (Fulton, prudential, BOA etc.) and still haven’t found someone who’ll look past my deduction issue.
