I continue despite having all that I have put in 80-100 hour work weeks..yes I can relax now, which I do on occasion but I still work as if someone is working harder to take it away from me.

On one occasion, I complained about it, and they tell me it costs them to supply the meter, and back then, they have to send "meter readers" around monthly to read the meter, and that costs them money at union rates even if I don't use any gas.

If you start small with a core group of people you get along with and have rapport with, and then ask those folks to recommend others (other investors, contractors, attorneys, etc.) then I think that’s a great way to grow into the market.The RI real estate investor group has explicit networking events maybe twice a year - they just had a networking dinner last month and there’s usually one in late August - so those are obviously good occasions to make new connections, but really after any meeting is a good time to start meeting folks.

@Nam Hoang you may want to reach out to a company like water mac or Jerz drains finding honest plumbers that will work on smaller jobs and while providing honest estimates is sometimes a challenge, Ive had both of these companies complete jobs on time and within budget for me on more than one occasion if my regular plumber is tied up on other jobs

Private money lenders will often take points and interest on the back end as long as loan is short term.on rare occasion hard money lenders will do the same.
