Overall, Multifamily here in the Midwest is still very competitive, but you can find deals even with financing, you just have to keep searching.

Competition always helps get you the best price.

That could be important if you are in a competitive area trying to get offers accepted.

The multifamily space is really competitive right now.

Hi @Alan Le - Welcome to BP and congratulations on getting your first house hack under your belt in 2020.  2021 has been an even hotter and more competitive market!  

The idea is that if we have a group all from different markets (no direct competition) + being off-line the ideas/help will flow more freely.

For example, if there was something like a global pandemic or credit market crash, I might not be able to get a refinance loan.

Very competitive market.

Single-family rent prices are increasing rapidly, as demand for single-family housing and inventory constraints forces some buyers to rent, increasing competition and pushing rents up across the nation.

That should attract competitive offers, including cash offers.
