You can either show them that you don't mess around with how you run things, or you can let them bend the rules and be prepared to have them know that you are soft and wont stand up to them on future issues/concerns.If a tenant comes to me BEFORE they want to do something, I'm much more lenient on considering it.....lie to me, go behind my back and have me catch you, then prepare to suffer the consequence.
