The best part about having elderly folks is that they don't move often, so you avoid turnover.In terms of refrigerator, I'm not sure what is the 'norm' in your area but in Las Vegas, most if not all landlord provides fridge, washer and dryer.

I see these little signs all over Las Vegas saying, "Become an RE Investor, earn $10-12K per month" I called a few of them and they all go to an automated voicemail and then someone calls you back and tells you they have a training program for you.

@Albert L. as @Jaysen Medhurst mentioned it's very common to get turned down for a personal loan after you've just made a large purchase since there is no collateral in case of a default.The best route is to do what you're doing getting a HML in the short time and then refinancing out in 6 months.
