2010 Goals - How is it going?

I would like to start this forum post and reference the many goals that were posted in that thread. Many of them were shooting for the stars (which is a good thing, not a bad one), however, setting goals that are actually possible to obtain may be a different subject all together.

That said, how many of you who posted in that thread have even started on any of those goals or accomplished any of them as 1/6th of the year has already passed!

Please note that this is not a pissing contest but a thread to help hold us all (including me) accountable for our goals and help us all achieve them!  Happy Investing to us all. :lol:

To the last 4 posters, let';s stay on topic here. This thread is NOT to announce your goals, rather, comment on how you are doing on the goals you specifically mentioned in the other 2010 goals thread - (link in my first post on top here)

AGAIN, this thread is NOT to announce your goals, but to comment on if you have started or accomplished any of them you set before the year started.

I'm on tract to do 125 deals this year and also help 200 mentees create an minimum of 20k a month income..

Investing is all about advertising and actually settling goals. Mentoring as all about honest kick butt training

          Goals are important... I remember the year I wanted to do 200 deals. I wrote 200 on a sheet of paper and plastered it on my office wall and on a board in my home... Told everyone what the goal was...

I thought I had posted in that thread.  Oh well.  So far, my goals for this year are coming along nicely.  I'm setting up rehabbing in different markets and am making offers as well as expanding into wholesaling which will feed right into my rehabbing.  The goal is to have three to four properties going at a given time in each market and by the end of the year I should hit that with some hard work.

I also want to buy three apartment buildings of 20-50 units this year.  That one is going to be hard to hit as my criteria are really going to limit possible deals.

I am pretty much on track.

12 rentals, with a goal of getting to 20
  
10 purchases so far (3 are in purchase escrow still) with a goal of buying 40

Already hit my goal for raising private funds, will probably beat it by 400% at this pace.

Little worried as it is tougher to buy right now, but I am doubling up efforts.

Goal is to flip 20 this year, working on 2nd.  I have been short on leads, so I am putting some money into marketing this month.

I have not booked an travel plans to meet those goals with the exception of an Alaskan Cruise laster this year and I do have another cruise in mind with several other investors.

I have been unable to even start any JV deals with other BP members this year, but hope to do so. My funding business has taken a backstep so that portion of my goals has failed so far, but I have 9+ months to go yet.
