If I were to offer services as a person that -upon receiving a person's preferences for the type of room/apartment or renter they are looking for- is willing to locate and tour apartments or rooms for them and provide them with tailored top recommendations, would I be breaking real estate law? 

I have an interested party that would like to tour the property.

However, by the end of the tour, I determined that this property was perfect for me.I had to make it work.I put in an offer, and last night after a second showing, my offer was accepted!

I recently did a video tour of a 2BR Unit in Laketown Wharf in PCB. 

I would also recommend coming to the city for a few days and tour around with someone to get a good flavor before spending any money. 

I'm fairly new to homeownership myself, but the advice I'd give is to be realistic with yourself when touring properties.
