The numbers are not as crazy there as they are in Destin/Miramar Beach area.   

Karen,I own 4 VR's (3 with a Partner/Builder) in the Destin FL area.VRBO/HA/FK platforms give a good indication via the calender.

You're certainly right to say it is not a huge Airbnb destination (except for those big weekends like Little 5, homecoming, etc...) , but the school accepts more people every year, so if you could ever see yourself investing in short-term student rental properties then that's the place to be!

So far we have created successful Craigslist ads, began networking at local real estate meet ups, cruised for cash in various areas in Baltimore and the surrounding counties, done research on potential homes and spoken with sellers.

I imagined Sedona would be more amenable to STR given that it's a touristy destination.

I am interested in properties from Panama City through Pensacola but I am trying to stay close to home (FWB, Niceville, and Destin), as I learn the ropes of this business.
