Well I dug the footings and they aren't even close to thick enough... 6 inches and 9 inches, and the engineer says they should be able double that in order to support the extra weight.

Unfortunately, I'm the only 6' tall boy from Indiana who can't sink a basket!

Anyone interested in this property may want to check to see distance from Dickinson Bayou - as you may know Dickinson was hit very hard and almost every property was flooded by anywhere from a few inches to over the rooftops.  

If i were you, I would hire a few tall-and-strong-built-evil-looking-tattoo-covered bodyguards and go there to 'warn' them to leave.

The grass is no greener on the other side of the fence, it is just a different shade of green and you need to climb one heck of a big fence in order to get there, and then once you are far away from home invite the wolves hiding in the tall grass on the other side to come out and show you what shade it is.
