Put 50k in gold and 50k in low risk bonds just in case.Put 200k in stocks being tech or healthcare as well as index funds.Put 500k in a 8 to 10 unit in my market in a B+ asset which includes value add which I would manage.

Seems like common since but you'd be surprised how many people think they can jump into real estate as if they were running a kool aid stand on the street corner, probably get more money wearing a sign that says "Please help, God bless".I guess they watch too much TV and then have fantasies about being wealthy, try the lotto.

I'm not sure what the requirements are before it triggers State aid but we barely had to do anything beyond report it and the DEP swooped in and ran the clean-up effort....including bringing in Clean Harbors and heavy equipment to remove and replace the contaminated soil.
