There is no magic in mortgages.When a borrower defaults the Mortgagee responds with foreclosure, not eviction.  

I'm thinking something like Magic Jack or Ooma.

You need to make sure it is a good investment, though, and not just because you're itching to do something. or because you think that the market will magically always go higher.I've had negative cash flowing properties because I was aggressively paying down short term debt on them, or because I was renovating vacant units. 

True, there was nothing new or magical about either, but that suited me just fine.

I'm calculating how much we can pay for a property to get that magic number of $100/door, then thinking to offer across the board this number for multiple properties and hope someone bites...does that sound like a good way to do things?

What so many people completely gloss over when negatively talking about dues and special assessments is that these are not some magical costs that turn into fairy dust.
