Anyone who finances will encounter the same issue with the seller requesting far over value for his property. 

One problem I expect to encounter is adults already in real estate doubting my credibility or trying to take advantage of my age.

I don't personally think you need a formal mentor, I would recommend simply asking questions constantly to anyone in the industry you encounter, and with time you will formulate an appropriate plan and goals for yourself.
