Absolutely nothing unusual about that.

They can bid lower or (in unusual circumstances) go out of pocket to bid higher.

Let me get my soapbox…It's not unusual as a wholesaler to have competition.

The property management company had told me this and that they of course gave us a great reference,  but stated it was highly unusual for someone to actually call and do one, stating it never happes but that maybe this ...... group was just really on the ball.

Worthless preapproval letter.50 pages of BS, and she or he actually looks at it all, and sends anything questionable or unusual to underwriting prior to preapproving?

It is not unusual in my market to see $50k EMD's in the city proper, and Ive even seen some $100k EMD's.
