That being said, it is tourist and foreigner-friendly.

The problem is that even though the town itself is located remotely, when it is compact and full of tourists it is very crowded.I know it sucks for STR but I absolutely think they did the right thing there. 

It seems as if there is some serious gentrification going on in the Savannah area outside the main tourist trap.

For example Vegas.. how are locals gonna survive with no tourist.. how will they pay rent and survive.. similar questions you need to ask in your market which appears to be Chicago.. btw did they ever start on the south shore project?

Unfortunately outside investors are raising prices so high they can’t afford to stay in their own homes and many tourists disrespect their sacred areas.

They will temporarily ignore remodel permits but will approve roof repairs, water heaters, plumbing repair, etc...Before any of this, our city was having a meeting about housing which is an ongoing issue in our tourist based local economy.
