We were "driving for dollars" and found a house in our neighborhood that has all the signs of neglect: tall grass, exterior needs painted, no deck on the back and sliding door is sealed off.

I have been curious about this as well, especially since I am a woman....wondered if it would make a difference...I have a friend who has had a few rentals in the past and he felt that his big and tall frame and his look made a intimidating factor...he also was quite handy on beign able to fix things...where as I am everything the opposite...so I have also exercised the idea of pretending to be some sort of manager....I like this question.

Now he's claiming I should only make them replace the glass and the latticework (basically repair the door) and I am not opposed to this, IF it can be done and I told them that.They're just making me feel unreasonable and I know that's what people do, they try to justify their horrible behavior, but it's really starting to make me sick (literally) with anxiety.
