For me, it takes 90 hours of class work (which I will be doing online, in my free time and will cost me about $500), I have to pass a test ($75 to take the test, I think), then I have to get under a broker.

My contractor is 3 months behind completing a house I am building as a rental...he dropped the ball his words on getting the electric pole and meter box scheduled...so now there is no power for at least another 6 weeks...he said he can pass the CO by hooking up a generator and then I have to pay him the final draw...that can't be right can it...how can he pass a CO with a generator...I know I can call the county on Monday just curious if anyone has heard of this ?
