I don't personally know any investors and was thinking that if getting my real estate licence would be a good way to get into the real estate world first hand.

Looking specifically for someone who is licenced to practice in the state of Missouri regarding a quiet title case. 

And currently getting licenced to become an agent.

I recently received my sales agent licence in Ohio and am in the process of setting up an LLC for sales commissions.  

If you decide to go the brokerage route, there are licences and other legal requirements.  

My idea is to network and exchange ideas, where I can enrich my knowledge and also give my feedback in possible lacking areas.I have an active RE licence since 2004 and practiced Successfully for 3 years, While still practicing RE, I started a concrete equipment sales company in the year 2006, which is very successful today and led me to open 2 additional companies in the related industry, one of them in the USA and another one in Colombia (My home country).

Hi,Does anyone know if you need a real estate licence in Indiana to manage your own rental properties,  If so is there a limit on how many you can manage ?

@Ming Lim, @Chris SomervilleIf you are dropping off door knockers or letters with the intention of purchasing properties for yourself, there are no legal issues ... even if the property is under an agency agreement with a realtor (the owner would just redirect you to the realtor).If you are canvassing for properties with the intention of finding a buyer other than yourself, then you are wandering into the grey area of wholesaling versus agency (which requires a licence).

I've been investing in the OKC metro are for several years now, also a licence agent. 

This is a bit more art than science, but is the best yardstick you have.Becoming an agent will make it easier to access the info and the training / licencing process should teach you all about comps and how they're used.
