She was also a control "freak" perfectionist, I would be doing it in the US and she in Asia ;pWhen my mom, the support of our family, passed....... we all had to reassess our life.and this is the path I chose. my family, "dad" was very supportive!

I honestly haven't looked into investing in Asia much but it sounds like at least from a tenant standpoint it's well worth looking in to! 

It has been around for a while in Europe and other countries in Asia, such as Japan and Singapore.

This is not: the great recession, depression or the dot-com bust, market crash of 1987, gas crisis of the 70s, the economic contagion in Asia.  

Anyway, lots of development and movement north and south of Manila with the plan to build Asia’s largest airport and the need for more affordable housing and less congestion in Metro Manila.

I'm a broker with a client looking for 50 million in development financing for a condo development in Asia.  

I'll throw in on this  (military keyword got me too)  Active AF currently flying a king-air in Thailand (and all over SE Asia) for the embassies in the area.  

We have another apartment building where we gave the tenants a 500ft x 10 ft section where the tenants grow nothing but plants native to Asia and it is amazing to see how all the tenants come out of their apartments, work together and share their crops.
