We used to be on the committee of the Otago branch for years and you get your best insight to the business talking with those locally and the fees are usually really cheap for the amount of info you can access.I agree with @Dean Letfus  that property talk is probably the only real forum type thing set up for NZ at the moment, unfortunately.
