Building a team is really important and as Kendall said, there are certainly poor vendors out there. spend time vetting multiple possible vendors, have backups, and build relationships.

I noticed that investors have had a very hard time getting MH parks financed so I went and created relationships with several lenders who specialize in it.  

We are looking for strong relationships moving forward in various markets that can allow for mutual success as we continue to expand our portfolio. 

I was helping my cousin purchase a property and his lender informed me that because I had written on the purchase contract that we were related that the investor fInancIng the loan wouldn’t lend to my cousin because it was a rule they had that there could not be any relationship between agent and principal.

I’d like to build some good local relationships with anyone who has there hands in real estate investing.

BP community- I received an email from a tenant at one of our SFH that things with her relationship have reached a point that she can no longer live with the person.

I have a broker I have a good relationship with so it will pay to have a coffee with him shortly. 

I'm hoping to develop long-term relationships with  other investors and realtors in my area.

Both are financially strong ( all of our investors are accredited) and have other relationships with the banks.There are also some smallish private equity funds that will lend at interest rates in the 8-9% range on portfolios of notes, minimum loan size starts at $1,000,000 with 60% max LTV.In both instances the lenders want to see the quality and performance of the underlying notes being used as collateral.
