From my experience, a substantial number of FSBO's wind up selling through an agent and, in this market, a lot of them wind up paying a buyer side commission when they don't.I just read through a very interesting thread on how the blockchain might transform real estate.

Despite the dour tone of this post, I'm a genuinely happy person. 

When I went it was just an overwhelming feeling of pretence, people not being genuine (waaaaayyy too nice), hiding their motives, and of course the classic "Ohh look at me, I am a rockstar hot shot investor, worship and admire me I know all". yada yada yada.
