so assuming someone wants to get into STR business without buying property, operating a arbitrage business rather than co hosting should only be considered if there are greater profits, enough to provide a sufficient return on the additional invested capital and offset the greater risk.My conclusion is that Investing in residential properties in which the property owner chooses to rent short term, and starting a STR arbitrage business, are two different animals.

You are right on, coastal is probably more 100% than 50% down now.....Even C class Phoenix is like 35% down now..... which leads to my next conclusion that we are at top now and going downhill from here....

In conclusion, pick a country to invest in(learn as you go, you don't have to learn them all at once), do your homework on finding a good international real-estate attorney, and go from there.
