I also took a glance at DF and they call for a study to be conducted on SAM's for regulatory oversight: "Study of Shared Appreciation Mortgages (Section 1406) – Requires HUD to conduct comprehensive study to determine prudent statutory and regulatory requirements for wide-spread use of shared appreciation mortgages and report to Congress within 6 months after date of enactment."

I am against this Bailout Plan because there exist better alternatives to its overall structure as it relates to timing, magnitude and the methodology of attacking the current economic problem.The “emergency†plan was introduced with an overwhelming sense of urgency as the solution to the global credit freeze that would inevitably lead to wide spread job losses, increased home foreclosures and an annihilation of investor confidence.

this is a fair deal If you can determine with certainty ( May be difficult) what is the determining factor in the wide spread of prices and this one fits that criterion or criteria.

Outside of that, consider what has happened just in the past few years for example, such as communities all over the country where BLM riots occurred that resulted in severe widespread property damage affecting surrounding communities for months later, lowering property values which allowed certain large investors including BlackRock to buy up these areas cheap, with and without leverage.

Water is not just a problem here, I'd say it's a fairly widespread issue.IMO, the biggest downsides to DFW are hot, muggy summers, lack of interesting natural beauty (wish it was hillier), too spread out, and air pollution.
