In construction the % of problem builds is far FAR less than 11%, I have often heard numbers ranging in the sub 1% fractional area, yet 100% of builds (in most jurisdictions comparable to rental licensure jurisdictions) require full submittal and site inspections.

Doorknobs/deadbolts naturally relate to safety, so I'm not willing to risk that issue given the circumstances of his request (doorknob/deadbolt appeared faulty).I think the biggest piece of advice I can give you is to process the requests like a robot.

And the robotics he did at NASA are rather amazing also, I like the medic version, freaked me out when saw that thing leap a wall then jump in back of hummer to pull a dummy out and carry it back to stagging area, mind blowing stuff.
