The building needs significant electrical rewiring, significant plumbing, boiler / radiator replacements or I can go electric baseboard heat, some masonry work and a list of miscellaneous items.

I was not in charge of the rental when it became vacant, my mother was and she was on chemo and radiation (she did not want to admit she was incapable).

I scoured the Better Business Bureau and Forum posts about this RV rental company to try to be ready for issues. the independent mechanic came up with seepage at the top of the radiator, and uneven wear on a rear brake pad and caliper issues.

This building has radiators and one furnace in the basement.

This could mean sewer lines, duct work, radiators, rotted rafters, so old and hidden.

Boiler has been removed but radiators are still in every room.- Every unit is nearly identical- all 2/1. 2 units per floor, 2700 sq.ft. per floor.- Each unit has nice original hardwood in good condition that can be refinished.- Paint is peeling of the walls and a lot of plaster is broken.

The 10 family has a central boiler and radiators in each of the units.

If there is poor ventilation, that thing could be a 180 degrees and radiating heat into the house.  

The property I most recently purchased someone used radiator clamps and garden hoses to move the washing machine 10+ feet away from the water hookups.

I had cancer a while back (treatable) but I had to get radiation which meant laying very still on a table and having them close a big door; the radiation techs were very understanding and would talk me through it and somehow I managed and after six weeks of daily treatment I barely had any panic.
