I am a real estate agent that license is currently inactive, as this was a requirement of my employer because of the conflict of interest.

I've been inactive for awhile now but I keep my license for a few reasons, mainly the warm and fuzzy that I have something to fall back on if things get crazy at my current job. 2 questions:First, am I required to disclose and/or have it on my rental agreement that I'm a licensed agent in this state?

During the past two months, I've secured about 40 leads, but have only signed one contract with a seller in large part because the mentor torpedoes the leads - either through prohibiting offers or making outrageously low offers, which aren't even in the same ballpark with what the sellers ask.While I realize it's wholesaler suicide to sign a bad contract, i.e. price is too high, with a seller, I am concerned that the mentor's buyers list is very small and inactive.

Why cant you just send them a cozy application URL via email when they are ready to apply and it goes inactive when not advertised.

The Georgia Real Estate Commission Website ( http://www.grec.state.ga.us/infobase/tableofconten... ) states the following regarding "Inactive Licenses": "INACTIVE STATUSAny individual who successfully passes a licensing examination may apply to the Commission to place his or her license on inactive status rather than affiliating with a broker.
