Of that remaining 10%, most of them have a "not technically sales" sales job... a high school teacher is "selling" those kids on studying and doing their homework on a daily basis, for example, and on the notion that Algebra isn't mysterious witchcraft, in fact it's something that you can understand and apply to your daily life.

Regarding the notion that the deductible benefits less than all the unit owners, that makes no sense if the claim payment on the same loss is considered to have benefited the whole association.

-JackI guess I was under the mistaken impression that you were trying to look at this with an open mind, but I think you likely came into it with a pre-conceived notion that you were looking for validation on. 

This is one of the most attractive things with RE - after you have paid off a mortgage and you take out a new one, there is no income tax and you can brun the money in Vegas as far as the IRS is concerned.

I don't know if I should take the risk of buying there banking on the notion that the property will appreciate in years to come.

Believe this is antiquated notion that stems from the "early to bed, early to rise" sort of philosophy from generations ago. 

I’m afraid my back and knees have overruled any notion of doing it in a 1,400 sq ft duplex (of which about 1,000 sq ft is carpet right now).
