Major con is the house needs major repair including de-leading, removing asbestos siding, water damage, and redoing the electrical panels.

Electrical wire, the door to the electrical panel that was missing was 175 bucks on ebay because it's obsolete.  

If you install the solar panels on your building, could Trenton reassess the property and increase your assessment?

We've bought houses with newer furnaces or electric panels and they actually make us go back and pull a permit because they were not pulled whenever the work was done.That said it should be a solid investment.

The other is getting an electrician to give your a quote to re wire the house to divide it side for side for two separate meters and panels .

I think the gray paneling and seams in the ceiling are the give away that this had wheels once!

What tips you off to a bad furnace, a bad roof, what should you look for on the electrical panel, what are all those wires hanging from the basement ceiling, etc etc etc.

@Gary KlineI would pull a piece of the paneling to see if there is damage behind there.
