@Alissa EngelI don’t think she is Targeting military,  and I respect her for putting the question out there sincerely but  I think her plan prioritizes her own gain at the expense of a military member in active service to the country. 

I partnered / collaborated / engaged / teamed /socialized / discussed / vetted /group thought, etc. in corporate world for 35 years. 

Most people prioritize paying their rent, and I see thousands of medical collections come up on credit scores every year.  

If he or she does, it means they can better understand your needs, but it also means they are your direct competition and a biased party when it comes to prioritizing whose property gets rented out first.

And even if it was, a tenant who can't afford to buy their own home, is still capable of prioritizing how they spend their income.Just a little example of how different tenants may choose to spend the same amount of income:I'm a low income senior now in subsidized senior housing.  

So, it's a balancin act...and about prioritizing what is petty and can wait and what is important. ..my 2 cents :)

So, the question is what is the most tactical approach towards homeowners about a collaboration and future sale?

We have a GA group that is over 50 strong and we collaborate,  partner,  we have confidence in each other and know where everyone is at because we've all had the same training and mentoring  Our PML group is pretty exclusive; I only lend to others in the WREIN network.
