The reason you keep hearing references to controlling spending is because of simple math:Income-expenses=savingsSavings is what builds net worth, through investing.People say increase income, but no matter how high your income, if your spending is greater, you will go deeper in debt.That is why there are movie stars, athletes and lottery winners who go bankrupt.

It would be easier to convince a relative to let them move in temporarily if they know they'll have their deposit more quickly.We were forgiving of minor stuff and just counted our lucky stars if they at least mostly emptied it out and didn't leave a giant pile outside and it wasn't in unreasonable condition inside. 

However, they bring their politics with them and if enough of them keep coming, before you know it they turn your state blue, then the search for a new state to move stars all over again.

How about this, before you argue how the housing market is about to collapse and it's 08/09 all over again, go watch "The Big Short", it's a movie, big budget movie with stars like Steve Corelle.Will there be a decline in the housing industry, well DUHhhh!

They may not be coming forward with complaints because they are thanking their lucky stars they didn’t invest in bigger real estate deals and lose even more.  

Even if you wanna let this PM try managing your STR, I'd be hesitant about using a PM who lacks STR experience - they might quickly be in over their head which will hurt your bottom line as you accumulate 1-star reviews & get pushed back to the 12th page of search results on Airbnb thus lowering your occupancy rate. 

And maybe your listing now has 40 reviews, sitting at 4.98 stars.

To be financeable the home must be a 5 star energy rated house as well.

Did not expect 5-star ratings but you can read some reviews of owners to get an idea.
