In the meantime there's always the sheriff sale, NORA auctions (but nothing is left really), just good old fashioned FSBO, which is how I got my last property.I'm a Midcity girl myself with rental property near the fairgrounds and I'm also mid full gut and reno off Esplanade ... rough in stage (it's taking forever.. contractors!

If you hire a buyer's agent at this stage in the game, they will probably have you sign an agreement upfront that says YOU will be responsible for their commission or fee since the listing agent has no duty to co-broke at this point.Good luck  to you!

If you have a problem house, consider dropping a few sound recording devices to hear truly candid feedback (it is legal to the best of my knowledge).  5) In my markets, for the mid-range 3 bedroom properties are the sweet spot; 4+ bedrooms take LONGER to sell.6) If all else fails, consider staging it.

There is a good website called http://www.globalpropertyguide.com/, that u can check to get add info about the country.I did consider investing in that country as well, but find it difficult as I do not speak their language, so much higher dependency of local people and their translation and overall a still unreliable stage
