multiple investment classes: non-commercial residential, commercial residential, self storage, MHP, industrial, office, merchant space, glamping and traditional camping, hotels/motels, raw land, lumber sales, mineral rights, etc.Your view is not enough opportunities, my view is there are too many to learn and understand.  

I am under contract for a property at 295k for a 1977 3b2b, 1984 2b1b, a double storage shed, and a covered double car port on 4.25 acres of unrestricted land.

As to the actual construction, time can be saved by ordering materials in advance and put in storage, having multiple crews going at once and having tight timelines. 

It is not to be used for storage. 

However we would be "getting more house" ( access to a second back yard, tool shed, driveway, second storage unit, etc)When I look at other houses in the area, with the intrest rates as they are, I don't understand why anyone would buy multifamily and rent it out when all of these calculations would be negative cash flow.

My W2 income is >$550k/year, if I build an RV/Boat storage facility, will my storage business expenses/losses be able to reduce my W2 taxable income? 

My self-storage facility sometimes gets 5-6 calls in a month!

This would work for many different business models that have an owners quarters such as some storage facilities or car washes.

I had to replace a $9,000 furnace, a water heater, and a couple of appliances, and I am about to spend another $10,000 on excavation for my storage facility.
