Here in the BA, there are software, hardware, and chip design companies along side companies that are involved in biotech, pharmaceutical, banking, shipping, etc.

Hi from the sleepy and lovely Central Coast :-)My in-laws are in Oak Park (near Thousdan Oaks) so I'm down in your area pretty regularly.I highly recommend throwing Detroit into the ring of potential investment areas.
