Just saying hi to the BiggerPockets Family. My name is Devon Watkins -- I'm a recovering lawyer and Alabama transplant (Roll Tide!) currently living in Sunny So. Cal, but hoping to launch my multifamily investing career out of state... maybe back South. I work in entertainment, so I can't move... that's why I'm looking for an ideal market to build my RE empire -- Nashville (visited several times) and Atlanta (went to Law School there) are on my radar. But there are so many choices. Prayerfully, with BP's help, I'll figure it out soon. Ok. That's it. That's all. Welcome to BP Devon! Having a legal background already gives you an advantage, and pretty much anywhere is cheaper than SoCal. You will do great.
