I would suggest maybe focusing on 1 market and become an expert there first before tackling other markets at the same time. 

Yes I know of Nigerian spam, now it has moved to Russia and even China.

It's still the same blocking and tackling:1) Figure your money out2) Identify what business you want to be in with a very cold heart3) Contact owners and don't wait for them to walk to you4) Be able to figure how much you want to pay so you can make money on the deal.My father, the mechanic, said it best: "You don't make money polishing tools, you make it when you fix cars"

I've got to give you props for tackling being a landlord from a far.

If you get out and SPAM or post useless drivel, you'll see little success and damage to your name/brand/company.
