There has been an uptick in outdoor recreation-based tourism there over the past few years (many of Colorado's 14ers are nearby), but the economy is still largely dependent on the Climax mine, which is dependent on the global demand for steel so it experiences large boom and bust cycles.

Outdoor dining/seating :

I would absolutely love to attend some local meet ups, however, just like my want to get involved in some of our area's local conservation/outdoor meet ups; my current job has me working most evenings during the week with few weekends available as well.

and many who just want to live in an area with year round outdoor activies I guess.when I think of a bunch of the new houses I built in the last few years.. many were sold to out of state... folks from Texas ( wanted to get out of the heat)  Austrialia  ,, Seattle ,Califonria of course.. many from the rust belt etc... because here you can actually buy a nice home for 250 to 400k...

Does anyone in this part of the country where the humidity and temperature is high, have these mini splits?

I find our guests really love to utilize the outdoor spaces.
