There is also a monthly Coffee with Real Estate investors group that is hosted by @Ron Harris that I really got a lot of out when I first started looking in the OKC market.

There are portfolio loans which can be an option where you can get one large loan to cover several properties.  

But once I get a few more doors that will definitely be an option

@Stephanie ChoiGenerally speaking it's not advisable to hold appreciating assets (e.g. rental real estate) inside of any corporation, whether it be an S Corp or a C Corp. 

@William Kercher this may sound obvious, but a good credit score is a pretty good indicator of someone who will be an excellent tenant.

I like your email, but I'd keep it brief- give him a short bio, tell him what you and your family are trying to do, and that you'd like to buy him coffee or lunch and discuss those specific properties.

I am willing to be an assistant sending emails and going to properties to take pictures, etc.
