Anyhow, here are some thoughts on what I learned and observed in my time there.

Super cool you partnered with @J Scott to do a deal, I read his book and loved it.I am planning on hitting the auction this week and just observing, as well as try to pick the veterans brains a bit, get some mentoring of my own.

I am not speaking from direct experience necessarily but observation of many others, but if you are doing well and think you can continue to have success just make sure you have a safer reserve or something you can tap into if you experience a lull. 

People want to be part of a success story, and they will likely observe you from a distance initially.

If you know your strengths, weaknesses, preferences and risk profiles, etc, you can observe the market, learn and find a niche - or several - that you can master. 

I have done all classes with tons of experience at this so I have no reason to comment on something I have not directly observed. 

I went to three auctions just to observe before dipping my toes in.
