We got preapproved and are actively looking for a MFH with an investor friendly agent.Working as a full time engineer and nurse, we are excited to start our journey.Our goal is to share our plan with everyone and learn from others.

Wife is a part time Nurse practitioner.

The gal I know that built one rented it furnished to traveling nurses to avoid dealing with the turnover, etc. 

Throughout the semester, they kept nagging me to switch to be a nurse or at least something in pharmacy. 

I am a newbie to vacation rentals - helping my mother and father turn their beach home into a rental to help subsidize (likely, soon) assisted living/nursing home expenses.  

But if the skills you bring to the table are limited, or like many of us, you can’t swing a hammer without nursing a swollen thumb afterwards, then contractors it is.Good contractors are worth their weight in gold.

However, if you are leaving your inheritance to your 85 year old wife in a nursing home you probably need to make a chance.

The interns have started to refer their classmates but I have not had the same luck with the travel nurses.

Working as a registered nurse has definitely equipped me to deal with these situations well.

My elderly neighbor is going to be moving to a nursing home after a brief stint in  the hospital.
