If it is a simple property, you might could find an appraiser who would do an appraisal from the exterior only, or just a less detailed appraisal that doesn't require a bunch of red tape.

I have not heard of a bank dealing directly with an investor unless it is on a tape deal and that investor is buying many properties at one time.

Where a promise was made to cut the red tape and take immediate action, certainly directs FEMA not to act as they have, but when it comes to federal funds and claims made, I can understand that a process is necessary to prevent fraud.

It is possible in most European countries the only problem is the RED tape here it is a killer and if anything happens were the renter is concerned it can take up to five years to get them out.

In regard to courtsteps purchases, we do not have the red tape of running any data by the custodian, we just get lots of Cashier's Checks (sometimes have to turn them in for fresh ones, trustees do not want to take aged CCs).
