As one of the "Hot spots" for people looking for very high class Belize opportunities, I thought I would be able to help answer questions and point community members in the right direction - as well as shed some light to those stuck in the unknown of some of the most beautiful ocean front properties in the world. 

The seller's disclosure said unknown on the age of the roof and I didn't know how to estimate the age of a roof.Also I didn't notice when we walked through the house but the top of the chimney is damaged and would need repair.

Although I feel like your current resident may comply, having a early termination clause sort of negates some of that unknown reaction.

I don't mind paying for quality, but at this point its still an unknown and hence part of my hesitation.

I've tried adding the age criteria to Listsource, but it looks like the majority of the leads are filtered out when doing this (most leads are in the "unknown" category). 

Louis has so many of, you'll need to make sure you have enough in your sinking fund to cover the unknown and unexpected expenses.

Not sure about your market, but in my market, if I asked a 400SF tenant to come out of pocket for 1 cent for buildout or for them to do any buildout on their own, they would run the opposite direction.  400 SF tenants are typically, really small operators and any unknowns regarding cost, workload, etc will send them running to the hills. 

Most people let fear of the unknown stop them from going big.

These unknown places that are affordable tend to have great appreciation when they become more discovered.Any have thoughts on the area?
