I have some money to invest and I do plan on starting out real estate investmenting doing the turnkey thing, but my concern is doing all your real estate investing in this way doesn't seem to me to be a very good teacher.I do want to learn how to fish, and I have future goals of buying small multi-family properties.

i would just leave water heater unless it can be moved easilymost good electricians can use a fish tape or rod to pull new electric wires,most likely you will only have to do some patch work on sheetrock once they are finished we change water heaters for a box store in my job(just over broke)every day and nobody worries much about water location until you get into high end areas hope this helps good luck
