I was hoping if we can find another good in house property manager but am open to property management companies.We already outsourced our maintenance side to appfolio, tenants call appfolio 24/7 line and they call the contractor if emergency otherwise create a ticket which gets emailed to our contractors.

The most efficiently do this is to outsource that vital task to a consumer reporting agency (CRA) that specializes in background checks and here is why:  A CRA must conduct Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) compliant background checks.

@Fred Dray My Current situation is we are a property investment company managing it's own portfolio.We outsource most maintenance jobs to individuals.The management arm has been overlooked by me and the Managing Director when he is available.However my big weakness is that as the company is growing bigger I need to build a strong team and I would like to digitize my management(been mostly old school) so as to provide concise reports for company management.Therefore, I have no idea how to go about it as I've been mostly conducting things myself over the years.Please assist on how to go about this...

Also, if you do not feel you can reach out and tap into resources as easily as a manager would than outsource it.Do you have enough margin in the numbers of your property(s) for that to happen?

We wanted to open up a discussion thread for those who currently have listings on Airbnb who are thinking of outsourcing the hosting duties/daily management.

If we can outsource pretty much anything to India/China or elsewhere...I wonder if someone has outsourced this?

Don't outsource your capital formation or rely on platforms with little experience underwriting to select your project to fund.  

My purpose is two-fold: 1) to help me keep organized and have a reference manual that I can look back on, add to and tweak as needed 2) provide instructions for every task that I could possibly outsource/hire out down the road so that I can scale and grow my business.Any stories, tips or advice you can provide would be greatly appreciated.  

I don't want to outsource to a PM company until I have to and I've heard of everything from utilizing handyman services on a retainer to giving the tenant a list of recommended service companies...how do YOU do it?

Outsourcing this work on a fee basis rarely goes well.There are a lot of other issues, but these are the big three that I’m concerned about.
