Growth can kill a business just as quickly as poor cash flow. 

Open a business credit card and do your renovations on that (for things that you cannot get financed with a hard money loan).

The local economy seems to be centered around these types of businesses. 

I live in Boston, but I was advised to start my real estate business elsewhere as Boston is very competitive.
