I’m not expecting any ‘golden answers’ so to say, but just to compile a list of notable places would be very helpful at this point.

He purchased a large complex out of the gate and is probably much happier he did as opposed to compiling a bunch of 5-20 unit properties.

As an investor you get paid for making 'business decisions' and being a strategic thinker; not to being stuck in the mud doing paperwork, pulling plat maps off microfiche, and compiling due diligence documents.

We have formed an LLC, compiled a nice team of professionals, mapped out a strategy, got business cards and forms together, even joined a local REI club.

Our next step is compiling a Buyers/Rehabbers list to pitch our finds to. we are both very detail oriented so we are just taking our time since we both have good jobs (don't like'em though).
