LLCs are entities that are set up mainly for asset protection, liability protection, spelling out operation rules, and sometimes tax benefits depending on the type of business you are running (since there are no greater tax benefits for a real estate investor inside a LLC than outside of one, we'll assume the first three reasons are the main reasons).Your acquisition strategies normally do not dictate whether you need a LLC, and in fact, some of the ones you mentioned are for very short hold periods (wholesale, possibly tax sale if redeemed quickly), so not sure why you would think an LLC would be beneficial in those circumstances (perhaps you can explain what you've read?).
