People rent it for weddings, family reunions, etc for maybe $150-200 per day per end.

I know it is much harder to find deals in Fort Collins, but I know people are still investing here and having success. 

I see a lot of people say they want to go local, and while I understand the sentiment, one of the biggest myths I see perpetuated in lending, or insurance, or appraisers, etc. is that local is better. 

However overall international tourism went down more than 50% because of the strong dollar and weaker Yen also, a lot more people from the US going to Mexico/Europe because of the affordability.

Agreed Chris, That is a stupid high risk move, often recomended by people who  never point out the obvous downsides.

The people are nice, competent, but the cost-value equation is no longer justifiable. 

I have been looking at CRM's like Hubspot and Odoo and I tend to get a little overwhelmed because their tutorials all seemed to be geared towards those that have multiple people working on the CRM and all of this automation when all I want is a simple database.

The state tenant/landlord laws, while not as favorable as a Texas/Florida etc state, are not as bad as people make it out to be.

Some people love it, while others hate it.
