I was first thinking in tinting them, then change my mind to probably just apply some clear coat varnish that enhances the color and brings some gloss and life into them.

Even if you choose to not make any repairs, and presume the buyer will choose to do their own home inspection anyways, being able to attach this inspection to a listing helps paint the whole picture of your house to a buyer, and adds some integrity points with them since you are proving that you are not trying to hide anything.

If it's a gloss or semi-gloss finish, I wouldn't bother with a clear top coat, especially any oil-based varnished or polyurethanes because they will cast a yellow tint on the light paint underneath.

We do, however, have over 22,000 members nationwide so there are a lot participating and contributing here on Bigger Pockets, from the posts I have seen they also identify themselves as members and do not hide that information.
