I find the motivation to own a home in historic non appreciating markets is not as keen as other markets were rents have risen by 50 to 100% in 10 years and prices continue to rise.when someone lives in a market and their 100k home was 100k 8 years ago and now its maybe 110k were is the urgency.. and when rents have basically been 500 to 1200 for the last 20 years were is the urgency..
